We are pleased to share that Duc Dinh, Research Associate at the Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Environmental Engineering (IKKU), Hochschule Karlsruhe, recently attended and presented at the 7th Conference of Electrochemical and Membrane Separations (E&MS 2025), held last week in Poland.
More information about the event is available on the official website: https://emsp2025.pwr.edu.pl.
Duc Dinh presented ongoing research conducted within the SophiA project under the title: “Advancing MCDI Performance: From Electrode Characterisation to Operational Parameter Design.”
The presentation highlighted the performance of the capacitive deionisation (MCDI) system integrated into the SophiA solar water container.
It focused on recent findings from electrode characterisation and operational optimisation, offering valuable insights into how system performance can be improved in remote and off-grid applications.
This event provided a valuable opportunity to showcase SophiA’s innovations to a global audience and to engage with researchers working on similar water treatment and membrane separation technologies.
We congratulate Duc on this contribution to the visibility and scientific dissemination of the SophiA project.
