The IIR International Congress of Refrigeration took place on August 21-25 in Paris. It was the perfect opportunity to present SophiA to the public! Various events were planned through the whole week.
The IIR team held a booth with some SophiA prospectuses. The booth’s success gave strong visibility to SophiA’s roll-up banner.
Oliver Schmid from HKA explained the project’s concept, objectives and progress during a workshop organized by the IIR Working Group on Cold Chain in Hot Countries, led by Halima Thraya. Later, a technical session was another occasion for M. Schmid to showcase SophiA technologies and containers.
Lastly, Ina Colombo from IIR, who presented a poster session on heat sink CO2 systems for low-income countries with high ambient temperatures, seized that opportunity to introduce the audience to the SophiA project.
All in all, this was a fruitful week for SophiA promotion. Through various activities, the project came into prominence within the refrigeration community!
