Two partners of SophiA, SPF and Simply Solar, will participate at the 34th Symposium Solarthermie und Innovative Wärmesysteme (Symposium on Solar Thermal Energy and Innovative Heating Systems) in May.  

SPF and Simply Solar will have a tandem oral presentation about the high-temperature heat storage, named « Hochtemperatur-Wärmespeicherung zur Dekarbonisierung der Energieerzeugung in afrikanischen Krankenhäusern ». 

The Solarthermie Symposium has been bringing together scientists, suppliers and practitioners for over 30 years in order to give solar thermal energy the focus it deserves as an ecologically and economically sensible application in the building sector. Because without solar thermal energy, there can be no heating transition. 

Participants will spend three days discussing the current legal and political framework conditions, technical developments and specific practical solutions and networking with each other. In presentations and an industry workshop supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK), the diverse challenges of solar thermal energy will be explored in depth together with experts. The accompanying trade and poster exhibition will round off the symposium.
