3rd International Summer School on Sustainability
The Hochshule Karlsruhe (HKA) will open its doors to students for the third edition of the International Summer School on Sustainability (i3s), from September 9 to 13, 2024!
Building on the success of the two previous editions held in Rapperswil (Switzerland) and Braşov (Romania), the 2024 edition of the Summer School will make its way to Karlsruhe, Germany.
As a partner in the SophiA project, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) will be presenting SophiA technologies to the students.
Come to the sunniest region of Germany and learn many interesting things about sustainability, including the topics:
- Sustainable societies
- Life cycle assessments
- Biodiversity
- Global warming
- Sustainable refrigeration, air conditioning and heating
- Renewable energy
- Water management
- Sustainable society and mobility
- Electric vehicles
- Lithium extraction from geothermal water
- Hydrogen
- Energy storage
- Team building
- EU project SophiA
- EU project PrAEctiCe
Diverse perspectives and backgrounds are required for sustainable solutions. That’s why students of all different countries and subjects are encouraged to join i3s. 40 international students are welcome to engage in healthy debates and discussions. HKA will provide a safe space for individuals to voice their ideas and opinions.
