From January 20th to 24th, 2025 the second capacity building session for SophiA4Africa trainers will take place in Yaoundé, Cameroon! This second edition, organized by 2iE – International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering of Burkina Faso and the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, will enable teaching and technical staff from the University of Yaoundé I to acquire essential skills and knowledge in the following areas related to SophiA concepts: water treatment technologies, sustainable refrigeration using natural refrigerants, and solar photovoltaic and thermal technologies.
The provisional program is as follows:
📅 Days 1 & 2 : Solar photovoltaic technologies and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems integrated into SophiA solutions.
📅 Day 3 : Sustainable refrigeration, use of natural refrigerants, and safety issues.
📅 Day 4 : Solar thermal technologies and high-temperature heat processes.
📅 Day 5 : Water treatment technologies.
