Together with Aurélie Abomo and Mr. Bimi, Ina met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, Professor Louis Richard Njock, who was the initial point of contact for the SophiA project four years ago. Short discussions focused on policy alignment and support for SophiA’s health-focused initiatives and future prospectives. He was also presented with a SophiA T-shirt as a gift.
The IIR and MINSANTE team then continued their tour with a visit to the Nomayos Integrated Health Centre, where the PVMETPORT technology will soon be installed. Both the staff and the local population particularly the Chieftaincy are eagerly awaiting the inauguration of the technologies.
Due to a lack of time, it was not possible to visit the second Integrated Health Centre, Ekekam.
