Presentation of the Event

This event, organized under the LEAP-RE project, will bring together researchers, students, and key stakeholders to address the pressing challenges and opportunities surrounding clean cooking in African countries. The webinar will focus on highlighting the barriers to the development of Clean Cooking in the African continent especially in what concerns the funding of businesses and the affordability of the potential users. This webinar intends to discuss the opportunities and challenges that e-cooking still needs to overcome in the coming years.

SophiA’s Contribution

SophiA has been actively contributing to the advancement of sustainable cooking technologies. During this webinar, Heike Hoedt and Mihaela Dudita-Kauffeld will present their insights, focusing on the socio-economic challenges of solar cooking in rural African Hospitals. The project’s initiatives will contribute to environmental sustainability in underserved communities.
