In August 2023, the 26^th IIR International Congress of Refrigeration (ICR) will take place in Paris, and will be organised by the French Association of Refrigeration (AFF) under the theme “ Towards efficient, controlled and smart refrigeration”. The 2023 ICR is set to be a meeting ground for policymakers, engineers and researchers active in the field.

SophiA will be promoted at the IIR stand but also will participate to the IIR Working Group on Cold Chain in Hot Countries workshop focussed on the Emphasis on Knowledge Transfer and Capacity Building.

In additional the SophiA presentation by the coordinator UKA, other project coordinators such CLI’ECO, INDEE+ will demonstrate how they have implemented alternative refrigeration technologies & energy efficiencies in warm countries. The ECREEE (the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency) will present their capacity building strategies.
