SophiA will participate to  the upcoming event: “Africa in Transition – A Bright Future for Energy and Communities,“ SESA final collaborative gathering with the ENERGICA project. This landmark gathering will take place in Brussels on May 20-21, 2025.

What to Expect:

“Africa in Transition” will shed light on the remarkable power of local communities in driving forward sustainable energy solutions across the continent. We will be showcasing groundbreaking renewable energy innovations and sharing valuable insights gleaned from projects spanning no less than eleven African countries.

Attendees will have the distinct opportunity to:

• Witness firsthand the impact of localized energy solutions.
• Hear directly from the dedicated individuals and communities actively involved in piloting these initiatives.
• Explore the key enabling factors that are facilitating progress, including essential policy frameworks and vital investment opportunities.

This event will also highlight the alignment of our project outcomes with major international initiatives, such as the EU-Africa: Global Gateway Investment Package and the AU-EU Innovation Agenda. One of the key focuses will be on the transition of successful pilot solutions into scalable business models, paving the way for the next chapter in Africa’s energy journey.
