SUMMARY:World Refrigeration Day 2025 in Cameroon
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the SophiA project will be featured during World Refrigeration Day (WRD) 2025, which will be celebrated on 24–25 July at the Akwa City Hall in Douala, Cameroon. The event is hosted by the Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Professionals of Cameroon (APFCC) in collaboration with U-3ARC and will include exhibitions, technical workshops, and a high-level conference.\n\nThe APFCC is a driving force in promoting refrigeration and air conditioning in Cameroon and across Africa. As a committed member of U-3ARC, it plays a vital role in advancing sustainable technologies, training, and policy engagement throughout the continent.\n\n\n💡 SophiA, AGRI-COOL and Natural Refrigerants on the Agenda\nOn 25 July, during the main conference, Ms Aurélie ABOMO AYINDA (SophiA Cameroon team) and Ms Ina Colombo (International Institute of Refrigeration – IIR) will present the SophiA project, highlighting its mission to bring solar-powered refrigeration to healthcare facilities in sub-Saharan Africa.
